MANIFESTO

MANIFIESTO

In ancient times they said the different languages of the world were sent from Heaven as a punishment. They’re here to confuse us, to chastise us.

But not even the divine powers can stop us from understanding each other. Because words, the offspring of any language, have been created to unite us.

I’m a translator.
I’m living proof that speaking a different language isn’t an insuperable barrier that prevents us from getting closer to each other.

I’m a translator.
I form part of a group of people who strive to redress the punishment of the Tower of Babel.
